JOB DESCRIPTION
Developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans for the publication.


MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES


Sales & Marketing
·         Support, develop and grow the company’s client and sales base through effective, innovative sales and marketing strategies
·         Exceed sales and revenue targets
·         Provide pre- and post-sales support to existing advertisers base and readership base
·         Increase number and geographical coverage of sales to direct readers by identifying and securing new business and market opportunities
·         Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns and activities to increase sales and brand visibility
·         Increase product and brand visibility through effective communication and marketing strategies
·         Respond to readers and stakeholders inquiries
·         Represent and promote the publication and product to increase sales and boost brand visibility
·         Contribute to development of effective, lowest-cost distribution system
·         Support publication research and development
·         Support onspOt magazine overall sales and company objectives to drive growth and impact
·         Ensure Media partnerships contracts are well documented, updated and followed up plus coming with other media partners
Reporting & Administration

·         Diligently provide accurate and transparent records and administration, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
·         Ensure rigorous financial management of all expenditures, revenue and transactions, regulatory compliance, and consistently accurate and timely submissions


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Work Experience
·         Bachelor’s degree from a credited university in business, sales, marketing, entrepreneurship or related fields
·         Minimum two years of experience in sales/marketing



Core skills
·         Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, customer service, relationship management
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to interact professionally across diverse populations.
·         Proven ability to build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with colleagues, clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.
·         Proven ability to deliver a customized, targeted sales pitch to a broad spectrum of potential client. An effective and persuasive communicator.
·         Experience presenting to groups and leading effective workshops/trainings
·         Keen understanding of quality customer service and sales support
·         Ability to work independently and proactively, while exercising maturity, resilience, good judgment, and professionalism at all times
·          Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
·          Mastery of English with excellent command of the language, both written and oral
·         Experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SEO and social media
